5.15–5.8 GHz WiFi Antenna for Line Equipment

4 dBi linear polarised, SMA, 90° beamwidth

Overview

Line equipment that communicates over Wi-Fi needs a reliable link inside a factory full of metal. A directional patch with a defined beamwidth is easier to aim and holds up better against reflections than an omnidirectional whip.

This antenna covers 5.15–5.8 GHz with linear polarisation, a 90° ± 9° beamwidth in both E and H planes, and at least 4 dBi gain. Continuous wave power handling is 5 W or more, VSWR is 1.5 or better, and the connector is SMA.

The defined beamwidth is the useful part: you can plan coverage of a station without measuring the pattern first.
