Clamshell lid with toggle latches and stay-open strut
Overview
A top-opening clamshell gives unobstructed access to the whole cavity from above, which is the practical choice when the device has to be placed on a fixture that sits at the bottom of the enclosure.
The lid closes on two metal toggle latches plus a centre catch, and a side strut holds it open while both hands are inside. Carry handles on the lid and on both sides let two people move a larger unit, or one person move a smaller one.
No air supply is required. Fixtures and feed-throughs are configured to the device, with shielding effectiveness, isolation, band coverage, and working volume confirmed per project.
