PCBA Functional Test System (FCT)
Drawer-type fixture with 0.6 mm minimum test pitch
Overview
After SMT, a board has to be tested and programmed before it goes into an assembly. Combining both in one fixture saves a handling step and, more importantly, avoids programming a board that has already failed a functional test.
The system handles single boards and panelised boards, with a minimum test point pitch of 0.6 mm. The drawer structure brings the board to the probe field without lifting it over the fixture frame, and upper and lower probe modules plus the wireless board can be swapped when the model changes.
Probe points, board tolerances, contact strategy, and test coverage are confirmed against controlled drawings and a physical sample — the published capability describes the platform, not a guarantee for every board layout.
