Drawer-Type Coupling Test for Tablets and Laptops
8–14 inch coverage with RF switching and auto calibration
Overview
Large-format devices are awkward to test because the antenna positions move with the form factor. A drawer structure solves the handling problem — the device slides in on the drawer and the cavity closes around it — and RF switching plus calibration handles the electrical differences between models.
The system covers 8–14 inch tablets with both 5G and Wi-Fi variants. Automatic calibration adapts the coupling path per model, so a changeover does not require re-measuring the whole chain by hand.
Both manual and automated operation are supported, which means the same station design can be used for a pilot line and a fully automated line later.
