RF High-Pass Filter, 3–18 GHz
3.0 GHz cutoff, 60 dB rejection below 2.6 GHz
Overview
Low-frequency energy causes more trouble in microwave measurements than most people expect: it drives detectors into compression, upsets bias networks, and shows up as spurious content that is not actually there. This filter removes it before it reaches the instrument.
The passband runs 3.0–18 GHz with insertion loss of 2.0 dB or better from 3.0–3.2 GHz and 1.0 dB or better from 3.2–18 GHz, holding VSWR at 1.5:1 or better. Rejection is at least 60 dB from DC to 2.6 GHz.
Power handling is 15 W with conditions to be confirmed for your application. The unit weighs 40 g and is rated −55 to +85 °C per the datasheet.
