4×16 Matrix RF Switch, QT4P16T
Four inputs broadcast to sixteen outputs, 0.5–6 GHz
Overview
The bottleneck in 5G multi-antenna production testing is rarely the instrument — it is the number of ports. A test set with four ports cannot reach sixteen antennas without manual re-cabling, and re-cabling does not survive a production cycle time.
QT4P16T addresses that directly. Four inputs (A–D) can each be broadcast to any of sixteen outputs (P1–P16), which means during receive testing a four-port instrument can serve up to sixteen device paths simultaneously rather than sequentially.
Insertion loss is under 4 dB on core channels and under 5 dB across the full unit at 0.5–6 GHz, with VSWR at 1.3 or better. Channel isolation is 45 dB or better at the input ports and 55 dB or better at the outputs. Switching is under 1 ms with a rated life above 100 million operations.
Control is Type-C USB with a serial protocol that can be customised per project, plus RS485. The control driver library and a cable-loss auto-calibration utility are supplied and maintained at no cost.
